There are many ways of experiencing meditation. Whether sitting silently, laying down, using spiritual music, listening to songs, hearing lyrics, drumming, playing an instrument, gaming - all are ways to get us to focus on a single thing or nothing.
Walking meditation, meditating using journals or sketchbooks, drawing, painting, these too can be forms of meditation. I've been told by people that they can't meditate, but all they seem to think of is sitting thinking of nothingness.
Isa is a rune of inner thought and a halting of other things. Like being in an icicle with the protection of all the ice around you, but only yourself to deal with any issues present.
But quietness or stillness doesn't have to be the only way you find clarity, inspiration, focus, and peace.
I'm interested to see how others meditate or what they use as a meditative device. Do you craft, do art, or play music? Do you have a ritual practice or various ways of finding your meditation?
